It is a slow process to dress 2x8 dry spruce with my little planner .I am trying to get the floor up and painted before the end of September and start on it again in the spring.

The building is 26x40 and will have a covered porch on the right side and a open deck on the front. I am planning to raise the wood shed on the left to match the roof pitch and have about a 6 foot covered walk through on the left side. It will make it easier to bring wood in the house in the winter months.

Good luck with the build!

I’m in the middle of a building project in Ontario as well. Heading back up the 1st to keep plugging away.

So, looks like you dug and poured a continuous footing/foundation just to put piers where you need them for bearing ?
Maybe fill that in with masonry later ?
Just wondering .... nice job so far.
I like the size of it.
Thanks
