Keith, if there is not a single original idea in Christianity, then how can we account for the Gospel of Jesus Christ? Christ's gospel is the foundation of Christianity.

Give me an example of Pagan religions doing what Jesus did.

Please point to any single theme that is unique to Christianity. I believe that is truly impossible. There's nothing of import that Jesus did that doesn't come from an earlier religion.

Do you know 16 other gods were hung on a tree to save people before Jesus was?

Dionysus magically turned water into wine, long before Jesus was born.

Ra, Horus and other Gods were born of virgins.

As far as I can tell throughout biblical history and also the history of civilization, most were pagans. Whether it be the Jews, the Mayans, the Incans, the Hindus, etc........

All pagan religions when in control lead to three things.......and those are sexual immorality, human sacrifice, and child sacrifice.

I don't want to go there, so I will call out their BS.

I can't think of a single one of the myriad of Proto-Indo-European religions, that I've heard of, that more modern religions are based on, that practiced sexual immortality or human sacrifice of humans of any age. Name one that did.

I think that you sadly have only learned information about other religions, that the people who run your religion want you to know, to control you.

Jesus Christ did not come down here to form some sort of "religion" , He came down here to save mankind from their own wicked sins.

Jesus did not die on the cross so that we can criticize muslims, jews, hindus, catholics, or protestants. He came to say HE was the Truth, and the Life, and the Way; and HE proved it by miracles and HIS resurrection.

He was also a MAN, with blood. Blood matters. He had the only pure blood that could sanctify the sin of the world.

You have to ask yourself......How can both a Holy and Just God, sanctify the sin and wickedness of man.?

The only answer is to give His only Son as payment for those sins. A loving God.

At least 16 others gods did that while being hung on a tree, long before Jesus did. Most return to life in 3 days or in a multiple of 3, often 9 days. Many, maybe most religions have their god dying for the people.

Well, if that is true, then I want to read the book that you are reading cause I never heard that in my life, and then I want to counter it with the Word of God.

I don't think we should have steeples on churches. I don't think we should celebrate Christ's birthday near the winter solstice (as He was probably born in the fall), and I dang sure don't like the easter bunny.
