I did not know of a channel I could watch it on. Walker pitching today, the Phillies will have to score 10 runs to win when he pitches. Some managers must think alike. When a Phillies batter has a good game or two and goes on a hot streak with the bat Thomson thinks they deserve a day off so he rests them. If it were me, I would continue to play that batter until he cooled off.

I got myself a seniors' GPS.

it tells me why I wanted to go there.

Turned out his replacement did really well, but I agree I'd kept hitting Amaya. Better go watch the highlights. They were down 10-3 in the 7th, and came back to score 14 total. Cubs scored 41 runs in the 3 game series.

The one good thing is at least Walker won't be pitching against the Braves this weekend. I don't know why they keep pitching him, he hasn't pitched a good game this year.

Rumors are Smyly is up for grabs from the Cubs and Philly may be interested. If you have any pull NL use it now and tell them DON'T do it! His numbers are deceiving. He doesn't give up a lot of runs but when he does it's when the game is on the line.

Brewers win. Peralta had a good outing, middle relief is problematic. Williams shut down the Giants. Cubs scoring tons of runs but not gaining much ground.

Unfortunately I don't have any pull. MLB.com doesn't allow me to post on their site and Yahoo.Com doesn't let me post on their site.

Thlere is more parity in the MLB this year than for decades and it is mostly in the to tier of teams. Maybe 1-2 teams this year have even a shot at winning 100 games. The small market, lower salary, lower economic support sites are playing good ball with solid teams. What a chance for younger players on many of these teams. There were some games where the Brewers had 6 rookies in the line up. Sure these players have a learning curve but many will get better as their experience increases. Intensity is rising as we have more and more season ending injuries now then in the past. Minor leagues are shrinking and not growing so colleges are becoming the player development area as it does for many other team sports.

Brewers win a 6-0 shut out. Civale throws a 2 hitter for 7 innings.

The Phillies game was huge tonight, they were down 4-zip going into the bottom of the 6th, Marsh hit a 3 run homer in the 6th and Castellanos hit a 2 run homer in the 7th to pull out a 5-4 win. I think I will sleep well tonight, lol.

I think it was Earl Weaver said every team wins 60 games and loses 60 games each season It is how they do in the other 40 games that decides if they had a good or bad year This year the White Sox certainly had a bad year The season is down to the last 40 games Actually more like 28 to 30 The 40 games that will make or break some teams have to some degree already been played For those still hoping for a playoff chance this is go time Every game that they have a chance to win becomes more important This is when the fun becomes more noticeable Every play is an important play And mental errors happen because the games are more intense This when good players can step up and be great players And at the same time it is when good players do not meet the standard of being great players I HAVE LOVED BASEBALL SINCE I WAS A KID But this is when it is the most fun to watcH Maybe the next star rises or perhaps the next wonder kid proves they are not really going to be that wonder kid And that is why they play the games I has been a fun season and I THINKTHE BEST IS YET T O COME

I'm going to watch the highlights. Wish I'd had time to watch last night.

The Brewers took the first game of the doubleheader against the reds in extra innings. Bullpen will be a little light for the second game after getting a short start from Rea. All Brewers fans held their breath when Jackson Chourio rolled his ankle on a groundout. Didn’t look good, but he stayed in the game. They are holding him out of the second game.

Brewers got Burnes replacement to fill in nicely in the second game with 7 shutout innings. Offense got things rolling and didn’t want to stop once they got to the position player pitching. Currently up 14 to 0 in game two.

I never watched any baseball today but I did see where the cubs held on but the skin of their teeth to win tonight.

Penn State got off to a good start, I hope the Phillies can rebound and beat the Braves tonight.

Cubs win again, Be nice if the Reds were worth a crap so the Brewers would lose one.

Brewers hold on to sweep the Reds. Another very soso outing for Williams. Great defensive play by Bauers. He struck out 4 times but saved the game.
