Very nice batch of fish oil. Good idea to use the black bucket for sun rendering.

Looks like the spoonbill fat yields a lot of oil.

I did sun render a small batch of bobcat fat with glands this summer. Next time I will separate them!

If I can catch enough fat muskrats? I would like to try sun rendering some Muskrat Fat. I wonder if it would retain the sweet musky smell???

Always fun to try something new.

Yes the rendered fat of muskrats does yield a nice sweet musky oil

Just finished bottleling my last walleye oil of the season. Was 93° yesterday.
BTO will have to go to the cellar till next year. Will draw it next summer when it starts getting real hot.

Got some whole beaver oil sacks sun rendering. Looks like it's time to draw the oil off the top. I'm real interested in what it will smell loke
