would be higher if cities were not included. Be at least 90% in KS if everyone were honest.

If they split the results on WA east and west of the Cascade crest east side would be the dark purple based on resident population not including the weekend wannabees

My eyes aren't good enough to see those numbers.

I have nothing clever to put here.

There are a bunch of people in Nebraska who know how to respond to polling questions.

I don't trust that poll. For rural Missouri far more people do own than don't
This state is deep red except for an area around KC, St. Louis and Columbia/Jeff City.

this is based of a study of 4000 adults. Most every other study listed on the first page has the numbers in the OP off by half..

These stinkin polls are BS. Did anyone ask any of you if you owned a firearm?
The rare time I do get polled, I hang up. The people that have time to do these polls….especially the political ones are libs & dems themselves. Wasn’t Hilary Clinton supposed to crush Trump? lol

Mighty hard to believe a map/chart labeled “mapporn “.

I too have no faith in that ridiculous map.

I think that’s someone’s 9th grade science project, or they polled the wrong people. I don’t know anyone that doesn’t own at least 5 firearms minimum.

you know 17 is not a hard number to hit

we had a what would you replace right away discussion , a week or two ago

carry gun
AR
Shotgun
22lr rifle
22 pistol for trap line dispatch
Deer rifle
6-7 was basically the norm for what people felt they would replace right away if they were lost in a fire or such

so when you have been around a little while and you have grandpas shotgun and lever action rifle , a previous carry gun , maybe a small carry gun , an older 9mm that really isn't worth selling.
maybe a shot gun or two you collected along the way.

wife's carry gun or two
a couple youth shotguns and 22s
maybe a 300win mag or other large game gun you bought to go out west
a backup or two
a couple revolvers that happened along the way .

just adding that up it would be about 22 and that is without getting in to any sort of actual collecting

there are of course people who tip that scale
helped with a dead friends estate this year without going into details , 70 years on this planet tallied up to a little more than one a year and I don't thing we have found them all as he was a hider , the last one I found was very well hidden in a vehicle we were preparing to sell.

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.
