Many conspiracy theories are based on fact, much like comedy. That doesn't make them true but it makes one think and there is usually something to be gained if you don't just dismiss them without consideration.

Yes, there are shady, powerful people--on both sides and always have been. Yes, the media and government lie--regardless of political leanings . But if some of y'all devoted even half of the time and energy you waste on stupid internet conspiracy theories to something productive, you would be amazed at what you could accomplish.

Being paranoid isn't paranoid if it is really happening. Sometimes it is a little more difficult placing that blame in the right place.

A little paranoia can actually speed ones freedom from a gaslighting situation. Can governments have that power? I don't see why not. The problem is there is such a vast area to place accountability. That in its self broadens the field for available escape goats.
That is what's good about a democracy, even though the republic is often an underdog. Sometimes the little dog can win underneath a big dog.

It is really sad how many so called conservatives are woke and many do not even realize it..many are government/big business employees.

Years ago when I was first exposed to the legislative process, I came to realize the government works very much like organized crime. If you have enough money, you can buy preference or protection. those may sound the same, but are not .One puts you to the head of the line......the other just gets them off your back. If you don't have money, you get run over.

Then there are the insiders........case in point is a guy I know.....has invested in real estate over the years......and have come to realize he has never met a homeowners association he didn't want to be president of. He lives to be in charge. Same in government. Cause crusaders who have learned they can do more damage from within government than working to influence government from the outside. There may be no limit to what damage those pukes can do. If the cause if just......they can rationalize just about anything.........and consequences to anybody.

So for the latest conspiracy theory...........who has been paying attention to congressional oversight investigation into Trump shooting? Who knows about the explosives found in his car? The sophisticated ED rigged in ammo cans well beyond ability of a 20 year old soy boy to cook up. He had help.

Most people would prefer that scenario as to an escape goat that one puts his sins on and sends him off into the wilderness only to escape the wild beasts with his life but has his sides torn open and escapes to get back where he was sent from and then spills his guts out on the ground.
