OUR VERY favorite is smoked tuna. I would trade 1/2 a tuna for smoked ( San Diego Charter) and the wife wouldnt sleep until it was gone! She does not read TM....LOL

Smoked chum is my second choice.

Cool! How big were the albacore tuna you caught? How many pounds of tuna did you get off of them?

They were mixed, probably 7 to 20+~ pounds each. It’s a fair amount of fish. I’m planning one more trip, my wife wasn’t able to go so she is not happy. Gotta love a girl that likes the same hobby’s as you.

If you have never had home canned tuna you are missing out. Nothing like the stuff from the store. I’ll be canning for a few days.

I agree about liking the same hobby. Our 1st date was fishing and that was 64 years ago the 17th of September and many fishing trips together except on big boats. We have always owned a boat.

BTW she is hard to outfish!

We ended up 48 miles off the Columbia bar, flat Ocean nice boat with twin inline six diesels. Traveling in comfort. But burned 125 gallons of fuel.
