It's what the deer are attracted to as of lately.
9 deer were feeding here about 15 minutes ago in the backyard oats and another 13 in the small radish field in the back foodplot.
Been a big influx of mature does past few days.

swampgas chili and schmidt beer makes for a deadly combo

You have to remember that 1 out of 3 Democratic Voters is just as dumb as the other two.

The apples have started to drop here so they are in the yard all the time. I never should have planted apples so close to the house. Every hornet, mouse and coon in the area is attracted to them.

I have nothing clever to put here.

In my oats as well and hitting some of my wheat. I tried a new one this year in my oats - rutabagas, I like them better than turnips so I figured I would see if the deer do.

When you need to mow your grass, do you pickup the apples or let the mower make applesauce?

Tried growing apple trees but the bucks pulverize them. And I don't want to see trees in a cage. Bear hitting the Aplles Rob?

Swamp, as long as we get good rains, yep. Natural p.h. here run's right about 7.

I cage them until they get 5-6 feet tall. Mice are my biggest enemy and I loose 10-25% of new seedings to mice each winter. If I notice them soon enough, Scotch tape wrapped where they were chewed will save them. I am at the point where the squirrels are planting apples for me and I typically find 5-10 "new" apple trees each spring that I didn't plant. The bears better leave the apples in the yard alone. I rarely have bear problems with the apples, but the Turkeys sure do bust them up.
