Do you know the history? Once fired or unknown.
Scrap yard buys brass.

Shoot sell it here in the trap shed bud ! Some stuff that will help with selling would be to group everything by head stamp. Hornady , Remington, Lapua ect. Different brass commands different prices. And posting some pictures would be very very helpful as well. Also instead of just tumbling off the bat if off that as an addon option. Maybe an extra $5 and post a before and after of your tumbling One more thing. One of those little harbor freight rocks tumblers make and amazing lil wet tumbler ! Little lemme shine and dawn dish soap from the kitchen isle and you can have some absolutely amazing looking brass. O and some stainless steel pins / chips ( only need a lil bag ) work wonders if you get some really grimy stuff. That and a old food dehydrator for a dryer and you all set for some amazing brass cleaning

Do all this BEFORE de capping, so as to clear the crud from the flash hole.

New or pretty clean stuff , lube full length, wet tumble , case prep , rice tumble ,load I don't wet tumble so its always after so I don't have walnut or cob stuck in the primer pockets. I have been at it long before the wet tumbling became a thing and I'm cheap enough I'm not going to buy more equipment when what I have had for decades works. if hiu are using ss pins they can get stuck in primer pockets as well so after tumbling nothing can get stuck when the primer is in place

Always just took a thumb tack and popped wherever in the pocket was out. Like a extra second to do so. Grab a fist full put them up side down and pop pop pop. But main reason I wet tumble it's it just works way better and it's sooo much quieter

what no annealing step in there?
just giving you a hard time , we just started annealing honestly I seldom bother tumbling any more . I don't care what they look like from the box to the chamber. I used to like to tinker and mess with loads and shoot for very small groups. thought I was going to have barrels set back just working up loads. Today I zero once check it when needed hunt make the kill wipe them down and put them away. and if I'm getting a 1.25 group with a deer gun I'm happy enough. boils down to time available. always dreamed of having more than just 100 yard range at home. now 8 can shoot 500 out back. have not shot 3 shots at 200 I'm the last 8 years. just not as into it as I used to be

Never buy used brass unless you dang sure it's ONCE fired.
swampgas chili and schmidt beer makes for a deadly combo
