If they are like the ones above I don't think are compatible as the rings have to be expanded to fit over the joint.think we are running into the A type vs B type.

This is the crimp set I have.

Use Pex A fittings for Pex A pipe. Use Pex B fittings for Pex B pipe. I know that Pex B fittings come in plastic. It would appear that Pex A fittings come in plastic from providence's picture of plastic expansion rings on plastic fittings?

those are crimp.

the benefit of using expansion fitting is, you do not decrees the interior circumference of the pipe at intersections.

The SS crimp rings is what you use on them. Like the pic above. I think you can use the black crimp ring on the too but I never have
