I am "on call" for my job....catching up on some shut eye after being out on a call at 1:30 A.M and had to go back in mid day to do a plant check. Then watering some ornamental grass that is super thirsty out here in this SE Nebr desert. Kinda getting some gear ready for a mid Sept hunt out west and am now watching Nebraska kinda spanking Colorado (first quarter anyway... long way to go) hoping the work phone don't ring !

Watched my youngest play 8th grade football. Ran for two consecutive first downs in the 4th to run out the clock and win by 1. Proud Dad.

I did start the day tuning all the traps, adding berk and cables, and checking tags.

Finally dyed and waxed 2 dozen #3 MB Alphas that I have had a couple of years that I will add to my line alongside my 550s. Weather was cool and amazing yesterday and reminded me of my first year's trapping gathering walnut husks to boil my traps in.

At my house, pouring a small pad for condenser. Hooking up all the ducts to the plenum. Use the rest of the day caulking and putty base/case. Sometime today I have to break off, go to a job and I stall an exterior french door into an opening that was framed for a slider.

Some interesting days everyone has had.

Didn't get much done but did go fishing this evening. A few saugers.

Fished the Yellowstone this morning and bummed around most of the day. I did buy an old rocking chair at a second hand store for cheap. Tonight I plan to check out some area for big game to see if I can find some. Haven't been out hunting yet.

Worked a veterans event today. Was a great time and got to talk to a lot of folks.
