Went down to port fourchon for an offshore trip but the weather didn't cooperate so I called a bowfishing charter to see if my son wyatt and I could get out and do something they are running gators right now and we're able to squeeze us in on a 1 day hunt. Special thanks to midnight blue charters and grandpa Jeff! Wyatt was able to catch 2 9'+ gators! Bad trip turned into a trip of a lifetime! [Linked Image]

Wyatt should get a new pair of boots and a belt from those gators.

Love/hate relationship with those lizards. Great to eat but 3 trillion skeeters, unbearing heat and long nights on the water really aren't my favorite things. Just thawed and ate a pack last week. Something "different" but not my favorite on a regular basis.

Trash your goals and plans for life. Just wing it and you'll never be let down!

Yeah Caught on set lines. So we could have kept the meat but we were in a hurry to get home and part of the deal is you have to pay the skinner to skin and butcher we didn't really have the time to stay for that. I've heard people say it's great and I've heard people say it's terrible.

To be 100 percent honest I find a live otter on a 12 foot cable to be more exciting. That's me the kid he fell in love I'm sure he'll be back to do it again.
