Thanks to all that attended was a great time to visit and catch up with old friends. Numbers were a little down but still had people from 5 different states. Sorry guys didn’t get many pics. I gave my coyote trapping demo first thing and that went good. James O’Neil with O’Neil ops gave a talk about the equipment they use. John Graham gave his demo and as always was awesome. And Larry Bowden did a phenomenal job on his bobcat trapping. Every kid there went home with a Bridger 1.75 trap. We closed the day and next years convention will be in union center, sd. Thanks again to all that came. Thanks you to the great vendors that show up to help me every year tuffy halls with grizzley rose trapline products, John Graham with fur country lures, had some new ones there this year aswell and when I get all the info will pass it on. And lastly a special thank you to or demo group John Graham, Larry Bowden, and James O’Neil did a fantastic job and everyone left learning numerous new things. Was a great day thank you.

I agree with you Jake, it was a great convention. The Fall River County fair grounds was a perfect facility for our convention.
The demo area had plenty of shade for the attendees as well as the presenter.
The main building was perfect for the vendors, the raffle and grubstake events.
Lets not leave out the 4-H group who did the meal !!! What a meal it was, and finished off with delicious cheese cake.
A big thank you to Jake, Vince, Tuffy and all the directors, officers and volunteers for you time and work putting this event together.
I am looking forward to next years convention in Union Center. Its a great facility and we had several good conventions there in the past.

Excuse me Jake but Tony did a fine demo too. I caught the last part of it and it was very good.
Just wanted to make sure that Tony gets his due recognition.

Yes, thanks for the invite and thanks to all that helped put it on. It’s like going to see family every fall for me, and I enjoy it a lot. I was glad to hear it would be held up in Union Center next year, as I have great memories of past conventions up there. Meeting Tony up there is one of them, when he was just a little kid hanging around!

I did have one thing to share with everyone though

Tony apparently sold a buddy of mine from Michigan a chance at that Henry .17 cal rifle that was engraved so nice while they were at Coyote Days 3 weeks earlier

I guess I never heard the name drawn on Sunday other that it was ‘George’ something …

Anyway, I get a text from my buddy in Michigan, who comes out every year to help me set up and run things, and he says - “Hey, I just got a call from South Dakota, and I guess I won a Henry Rifle….”

I felt pretty dumb, I was sitting there visiting and never tumbled to the name drawn was my buddy! Anyway, they’ll get it worked out .

Great times, and the years fly by. Good to see a few younger kids showing up, and was great to see a whole crew of 4H kids show up to put on a good meal.

Good folks all the way around

Great job Jake and crew !

Yes Larry thank you for pointing that out. Tony did our beginner trapping demo and is fantastic at it, explains everything to the detail. If anyone is in need of someone to do a demo or teach a beginner class let me know and I can put you in touch.
