Going to go look at a F-150 with a 2.7 . Does anyone on here have that motor with some mile on it? Any major problems?

the 2016 is pre recall

my brother has a 2020 with the Eco boost ,he likes it , I like normally asperated engines

his is not high miles nor is he planning on keeping it to high miles. he will likely 4 years then trade

I have that in my 2021 F150, less than 50,000 miles, pull a scrap trailer into the metals buyer every couple weeks, never much more than a ton. I think that it is fine for me, a lot better mileage than my 2014 with the 3.6 motor.

as far as technical service bulletins it doesn't look bad

mostly modules that go bad and need replacing.

I have 2016 with the 2.7. have 132000 miles and have been very happy so far.

Have a"21" with a 2/7 and just over 50,000 miles. So far so good. Had a 2016 with same. Needed new motor at 22,000. Traded it at 116,000 miles with no more problems. This will probably be the last truck I drive so time will tell how they stand up.
