I’d imagine if you set up near bear sign, or know a good area and can see a ways, I think calling would work, but I think you’re gonna have to call a lot to keep their attention. Side question-lions in the areas your bear hunting? I’d think they’d respond to some death cries also I’ve been wanting to try calling bears, if you do let us know how it worked out
