Is Milligan’s brand Cat Man Do a good coon lure as well as bobcat?? Just wondering; my reasoning being what’s good for a cat should be good for a coon. Anybody used it much??

I used to use it a lot for fox. Basically it's skunk, castor and probably some enhancers. It will catch coon. Not saying it's the best coon lure out there. I like to add some fish oil or paste to the set when I want them.

Right now I’m having amnesia and déjà vu at the same time. I think I’ve forgotten this before.

Unfortunately yes,
If you find a lure that attracts cats and not coon that would be very popular In my book.

I don’t think cat man doo is the same lure it was 25 years ago. Had a real strong skunk smell

Not sure why but cat man do seems to have the most variability between bottles. I open and smell everyone I buy. I never order it online due to the extreme differences.

I just received an order of this a couple days ago. Wife called asked if I ordered a skunk to be delivered by UPS. I had her check to make sure they weren't broken. They were fine, but my trapping room has a very pungent odor now .

Most skunky lures lose thier punch if they are on the shelf a couple years.

I buy it mainly for my coyote and cat sets but I don’t use enough of it in just those sets to use up the bottle in a year or two. I was just wondering if it would be beneficial to use it at coon sets. Beneficial??
That got funny as I typed it out I’ve been getting $2 a piece for coon hides. LOL.

LMBO @ beneficial I think you are right. We need to find something that repels coons for now LOL.

I use Catmando as a call lure and the Graham LDC for a change up. Because of this if I think a bottle has sat too long and lost a bit of it's potency I have zero issues adding s drop of skunk. Back when I lived up in Kansas we would get enough snow for me to see that it did not push any cats (or coons) away.

Been buying Canine Call for 30+ years, never saw any difference at all, at least to my nose... until the last bottle I bought... it was different. Not meant to call anyone out at all, just stating a fact... could have been any 1 of a multitude of possibilities... my point is not even the same lure is 100% always the same...

I use many of his lures. All I’ve used are top notch.

Lure is tricky
Dobbins works in wa ,,,,,for beaver, most of the MTP and green lure dont.
Pete Ritcher (sp) used to make something in that was great. Looked on the web site and it was not available,,,,,

In az for cat,,,,,, I use the "Bob Small" theory.........
