I attended the show this morning, we got there about 7:45 and I could not believe how many vehicles were already in the parking lot. It almost looked like our state convention. There were lots of tailgaters and the only building was filled with vendors. That show is absolutely bigger than most state conventions. It is a one day show held every September.

I got myself a seniors' GPS.
Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination,
it tells me why I wanted to go there.

It was a great show, I did well as a seller (and buyer). Thank you to D8 for their hard work.

This was my big score of the day. Pennsylvania Trapping and Predator Control Methods was published by the PA Game Commission. The book has quite a few editions with different covers. This book is an original and is dated 1957. It is difficult to find an original now days and even more difficult to find one in mint condition like this one is. The book was in a baggie and I opened the baggie to see if it was a first edition, inside the cover was the pamphlet which was also put out by the PA Game Commission, it is dated August 1951. It is in super nice condition too. The books cover was a painting by Ned Smith, most Pennsylvanians know of him as he was a well known wildlife artist that did many covers for the Pennsylvania Game News magazine. That book was one of the first trapping books I ever owned. I wore it out and when the covers fell off and the pages had upturned corners I suppose I threw it away about 50 or 60 years ago. It was an awesome find for me.
