We might get to actually see it, lol. I think it’s rained or been a mist the entire month of September so far.

Full moons used to suck for duck hunting. Ducks would be everywhere up until 5 minutes before shooting light then the minute it was legal to shoot, they were gone!!

Ducks migrate regularly on a full moon.
I do agree, full moon periods can cause ducks to become dang nocturnal, especially ones that have been in the area for awhile.
The teal we had here moved out with the opening weekend hunting pressure. We need a push of new birds.

Clay, teal are most finicky waterfowl I know. Especially Bluewings. We had a honey hole that was flat loaded on a Friday morning before season opened that Saturday. That evening a front blew in and they blew out. I mean we didn’t even see a single duck the next morning!!
But, when they’re there, you can’t beat them off the decoys. I used to use a Mojo Dove for teal with about 6-8 decoys around it and they would literally land under the decoy!! Man I loved shooting Teal!!

Neighbor says the past few nights have had the coyotes howling up a storm on his back 30. I know it's early but I might have to go back there and do some scouting one day this week. I'm sure it's the moon that's got them all worked up.
