0900- Dave Hardin. Coyotes and cats
1000-Dave Kriege. Otters and beaver
1100- Tim Grooms. Canine scent detection and response.
1200- Lunch. Hot dogs and brats, chips
1300-Steve Pickard. Bobcats on/off deer trails
1400- Nick Erny. Beaver and otter with RBG TRAPS
1700-Elk Stew and turtle soup
Officer and director meeting either before and/or during the elk stew

Saturday demos.
0800- Greg Bickel. Skunk trapping and handling
0900- Hal Sullivan. Water trapping
1000- Rodney Mattingley. Roots and herb collecting
1100- Auction and trapper trade table ( bring around 20.00 item for table if you want to participate in trade table)auction items appreciated. Auction will be quick.
1200- Fried Chicken, Mac and cheese and green beans

Hal may not make it. He’s hardly ever missed a meet but his wife is not feeling the best and that is certainly understandable. We have a backup for his demo slot just in case. I’m looking forward to seeing all my trapping friends again.

Well darn. I am only 2 hrs away or less and as I was reading this I thought I should go watch Hal give a demo and thank him for all of the things I have learned from his site. Then in the last post you say he may not be there. Totally understandable reason, family comes first, but if you get an update on his attendance I would appreciate it.

Looks like the hurricane is going to track right up over us for our meet. We have a nice big building and a covered pavilion for demos and plenty of tables and chairs. It’ll be terrible weather to bow or squirrel hunt so come out to “ The Hurricane Helene Convention”. Nick Erny, Mr. RBG, will be there with a full line as will Tandy’s Lures. Hal Sullivan will be there if Miz. Is feeling up to it. We have several guys bringing tailgate and trade stuff. We ought to get to know each other better this weekend. All the demos can be given on their times. We may just have to talk more and answer questions,

If I remember correctly they have a big covered pavilion and the building is plenty big. Looking forward to a good event. N ky meets are always well attended

Thank you everyone that came out. It rained the whole time but we made it work. We had over 60 attend that drew lot numbers for the March 2025 fur sale. It will be another good one.
