I will try about anything but that soup looks disgusting. Many people say the same thing about some of the stuff I eat also though.

Reminds me of going to a vietnamese resteraunt with a friend but it was not salmon.I passed.Salmon head soup would be just fine.All the flavor is in the head.

Correction, on closer examination it was a really big silver (coho) salmon head.

Holy crap, I haven't been that hungry yet. Looks like a start on making some trapping bait and trailing oil. I'd be sticking with the tator tots and forget the soup.

Fish head soup traditionally is cabazon head. I'm sure salmon is excellent too. I was referring to the fact that no body has taken the cheeks, indicating that no one there has had a fish head before.

I like salmon soup but we don't use the head in it. Also ours is more of a cream soup. Delicious with some town house crackers crumbled in it.
