Buy a bunch of snap traps on eBay is what I did. I screwed them to laths so I don’t have to look for them and less likely to be carried off by cats.

I have found that wrapping dental floss, or even some long hair around the bait helps them get stuck and trip the trap! We had leftover turtles candies at work and I caught 11 in less than a week! Management was happy

Here’s the simple way, take 20 victor snap traps with the plastic pan and spread Melted chocolate on the pan then let cool or stick in freezer for like 10 minutes then go out to a woods with lots of logs or brush and look for areas with rocks or a rotten tree and you will be surprised at where you will catch mice. Good luck

Also the reason i use chocolate is because every animal likes peanut butter so you end up loosing your trap and bait a whole lot more then melted chocolate. Another reason to use choclote is because I usually don’t have to rebait my traps until about 4 days of mice catching

Put bread crumbs in a regular steel funnel minnow trap - I ground a 5 gallon bucket full the other day. Learned this many years ago while catching minnows in a creek. I threw 2 minnow traps on high bank one day and it took me an half hour to find one. By the time I found the minnow trap the two on the bank had a couple mice in em. Since then I keep a couple in barns and sheds just for getting the mice I need.
