Was in a union for about 2 years, had to leave, some of the laziest people I have ever seen in my life. Not saying all unions or union workers are that way, was just my experience. UAW perhaps ?

I work in a union and was sent from the Wis. AFL/ CIO vote for Harris . I emailed them back to drop my name because I don't care what you say you will destroy the country for hating Trump. that's the thing...they seem all too willing to sell the country into communism, as long as they get their backs scratched.

Honestly it's just the best paying job with the best benefits to me nothing more. this statement is demonstrably incorrect. in fact, the mere fact of this particular thread proves that. you have ALWAYS taken union criticism as a PERSONAL affront. no sir I agree with a lot of the criticism. But I call out the bs when it's spouted out. Just like I will vote for Trump yet again but I also have no problem talking about his faults . The Trump fan boys can't and won't admit the guy have some major issues. Unions have major issues also.

In that case, the Teamsters should have endorsed President Donald Trump, since that's what the majority of it's members want. The just proven fact that the unions are not supporting what their members want, proves they should be done away with, because that is their purported purpose.
Keith It also proves where the brass sends the members money to.

I was union meatpacking in 1976. When the Vietnamese started pouring in the union dropped wages $2 per hour because they knew they could. That's not good support.
Life ain't supposed to be easy.

I have stated that my only real problems with unions is their support of Commie politicians.
fwiw...I've been union and I've been NOT union (by choice) Unions in America evolved with the Communist Party. The dogma that union guys spew is very close to the same working class dogma that the communist spew.
Who is John Galt?

In that case, it sounds like the union members should unionize against the unions, who take their money, don't represent them and use the money they take against the union members' interests. This entire thread makes unions look very bad.
Keith Yes, it's hilarious that Providence Farm thought that this post would somehow make unions look better. He couldn't have made them look worse if he tried LOL. He said that "union haters" say most union members vote for Democrats but that's not something I usually see.... they say most Unions support Democrats, which is entirely different and entirely true. They use their members' dues money to support candidates that their members do not want supported. This post just shows how corrupt they are by changing their rules to not endorsing a candidate because the candidate that their members want is Trump. Pathetic. I'd go hungry before I took a union job!
Just give me one thing, that I can hold on to. To believe in this livin' is just a hard way to go.

In Providence Farm's defense, a great many non union workers post on their companies' time too. You also don't know whether or not he's on break, or at work at all, when he's posting.
People learn young now, as evidenced by how many of our young members post from school.
I'm self employed, as I've been most of my life, and have enough, so I just do what I want to do most of the time.

So let me get this straight.
Most teamster union members (truck drivers) are voting for Trump.
The teamsters REPRESENTATIVE leadership ALWAYS endorse the D candidate.
So what I read is union members are willing to pay money into a membership that purposely fights against their morals and beliefs for a better paycheck and better benefits.
I get the money and bennies things, but why be part of an organization that takes your money and purposely uses it against you? Eventually the membership will lose.
Short term thinking.
How many lies will people believe before they realize their own idiocy?
