Arrowed him a bit back last night but thankfully was able to find him this morning. He had been in the area for awhile but not very consistent. He has hit the bait that morning for three hours and I figured he would stick around cause I had 30 gallons of pastries and bread and a 50 pound beaver in the barrel. Finally about 40 minutes before the end of legal he came into that bait

He’s really pretty. Almost a blue hint to his fur.

He was over 300 but not sure on weight as he died in a bad spot so I quartered him. Skull is sitting 19 1/8 green. Not much of a story he was the first bear to come in that night. Has been hit or miss at the bait for a couple weeks
Now. But I figured once he got in a barrel full of pastures bread and beaver he would
Stuck around and it just happened we had rain coming in overnight so he came in early for one last snack before the weather turned to crap

I think around 300-400 yards. My phone was having issues so I couldn’t measure distance with it
