the lane walker series is may favorite and I only have too of the books!
The rifle has no will of its own it may be used for evil but there are more good men than evil men and evil will be corrected by good men with rifles.

I liked the education of little tree
unfortunately the author was apparently KKK and the book has controversy about it , as a story good , why it was written not so much.
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

I read White Fang and Call of the Wild as a young boy. good books , I remember call of the wild.

I like Lewis B. Miller books. Not necessarily trapping related but they were written 100 years before the woke movement started and I find them absolutely hilarious.

Hatchet has like 3 more books after it, the river, Brian's winter and the hunt I think, if you havent read those I liked them. Read the 1st to my son but I just found out about the last not too long ago. I didn't know this and need to order them for my boys.
