I am looking for titles to add to my classroom library.
I have books like Hatchet, Where the Red Fern Grows, Old Yeller, Hugh Glass: Mountain Man, etc.
I have the Lucky Luke series as well as some Lane Walker books.

Anything else is very much appreciated.

Makes me wonder if, for a classroom setting, could you or some organization, get a good deal on the Lew and Charlie series?

I liked the education of little tree

unfortunately the author was apparently KKK and the book has controversy about it , as a story good , why it was written not so much.

I like Lewis B. Miller books. Not necessarily trapping related but they were written 100 years before the woke movement started and I find them absolutely hilarious.

Hatchet has like 3 more books after it, the river, Brian's winter and the hunt I think, if you havent read those I liked them. Read the 1st to my son but I just found out about the last not too long ago.

Providence not promising the last book, I never got it to see. The river is OK. Brian's winter is better. Hatchet is by far the best

thanks Salem. and eveyone else I will see if all of these are already on the shelf or if they are books my wife has not found out about.

it's much easier to get the boys to read when the books are things they are interested in. Then you can't get them to put the books down.

Hey, Luke.

"The Old Man and The Boy". By Robert Ruark..

Every young fella should read it.
