Got shingles on my head, left ear is full of the sores. Even got em on my bottom lip.

My wife is currently fighting shingles, her entire torso is involved, the 12 year old PA she saw didn't know what it was....this is the 5th time she's had it, but never this bad. I tell her to get the shot but to no avail....maybe this time will convince her.

Not fun.. I had the around my waist like 15 yrs ago. About once a month I get a random shock from the shingles. Feels like an electric fence wraps around me just for a quick zap

It's pure misery! I fell and cracked some ribs, and that set it off, and it didn't take a lot of talking to get me to take the shot.

Guessing the shot wouldn't help much if her body won't make antibodies for the live virus, but I am NOT a doctor or virologist.

My mother and grandmother suffered with shingles. The old shot was something like only 11% effective. The new one is 90%+ effective. Mom hasn't had it again since the new shot. Gram passed before it was available. Prayers sent. Heal well

I hope you don't get trigeminal neuralgia from them being on you head. I'm dealing with that right now. Not fun. I didn't have a real bad shingles outbreak, but this other stuff is the pits.

shingles is no fun. You need to be clear of an active outbreak for the shot to work. Sent with prayer for a complete recovery.

Sooner you get on the antiviral the better. When they get really bad is most won’t go to dr until few days after they flare up. Woke up one morning with spot on my forehead hurting like a bee sting. My mom said get to dr it’s shingles starting. Was on meds with in 12 hours of first signs. Had 5 blisters pop out in total. Dried up and gone in about 10 days

You guys can have your vaccine. Do a little research before you take it. I’ll take my chances on valtrax clearing it up.

I have seen everyone in excruciating pain with shingles. Black, white, male female. Doesn't matter.

I got the tax when I turned 50. If you do get it, it is a two shot series. First shot isn't that bad.

Second shot you will hav to take a weekend to recover. Get the 2nd shot on Thursday and take a three day.

Covid doesn't scare me. Shingles scare me.

For me, it's not the shingles. It's the aftermath. The actual out break wasn't bad. I was on valtrex within 4 days. The neuralgia is bad. Thankfully, it's seems to be getting better. By the way, anybody and will for any reason. Doesn't mean that the basis of the lawsuit has merit.
