Wonderful Wife and I are in the process of filling up our yard with signs. Been trying to find one that says "HUNT, FISH, TRAP, VOTE!" but it looks like we may have to make one ourselves.

That is the huge problem the red party has. They lack registered voters with only ~ 28% verses 37% blue party.

I have heard that Sportmen in general are poor at getting the vote out. November is a busy time. But it’s important more than ever to make sure you get out and vote. Encourage friends to do the same. Be a good idea to text a bunch of people on important dates, registration deadlines and vote day in particular.

That's the nature of the "just want to be left alone" crowd. Most fail to realize that sometimes requires getting up and making a believer out of some folks. You can sit on your front porch all day long but if you don't tend your fences you're going to get trespassers.

The ones that bother me are the former voters
that are convinced of cheating so they don't matter.

I have a Mennonite friend who is a high volume logging contractor. He told me he and his friends and family are very worried that Kamala is going to win and her policies will hurt his business. Then he tells me he doesn’t vote, but is praying hard that she will not win. I told him he needs to vote, but I fear it fell on deaf ears. So there you have it, gun owners, and religious communities not voting.

One of my huge pet peeves is pastors refusing to take a stand from the pulpit, my own included. He's on record as saying he doesn't wish to offend the blue voters in the church and that it's not his job. Truth be told they are scared of losing the tax exempt status.

Yet, the black church down the road gets to load up busses to go vote on Sunday.

If the Mennonite lives in NY State, he is not choosing the next President by voting for Trump. Trump will still lose NY State. He needs to pray that other people inswing states vote for Trump. Praying is the answer.

Your probably right on NY but I think it's going to be closer than it has been in decades and that sends a message even if only in state. We really need to be working hard on the "blue" states like NY, IL and even my own purple GA to embolden and empower the local right thinking GOP leaders and pick off the seats that we can. Giving up or saying what's the use is surrender to despair.

I know a guy like that who said he never votes. He has an opinion, but prefers to remain neutral.
