I have a dozen or so of the old Montgomery low lever dogless traps that I wam wanting to modify. I believe I have seen reference to this here and there, but I can’t quite find anything regarding the specifics. But my understanding is that you can replace the existing levers with Bridger levers and these are interchangeable and makes them a “high lever” trap. Has anyone done this and is my assumption correct?

I am doing some other modifications to them as well as I like tinkering with traps. I usually run the newer Victor/Montgomery traps, but I occasionally am able to find these Monty’s at a good value.

Thank you and I will try to post some pictures of the process.
