Can't wait to pick on these coyotes that are hanging out in front of my trail cameras. Might have some action shots of catches after 10-15.

I pulled the card from a game camera I had running on my garden for past month or so. A possum, two stray cats, bunch of rabbits and............a coyote. About 100 feet from my back door. Video of it chasing after the rabbits. The things that go bump in the night........or to paraphrase the song.........when the evening sun goes down.......you'd be shocked at the things that come around.

Dido, that's why I never put out cameras right before season. I also have the same problem when I pre-bait my sets. Curiosity is been satisfied so they move on.

Common sense is a not a vegetable that does well in everyone's garden.

I utilize cameras as well. Just finding them is half the battle. I’ll leave some cameras on sets or after setting I’ll move them to other areas trying to locate more.

Do you guys notice any difference between low glow and no glow cameras?

I have some cheap low glows, I don't use them much but I had some out this summer just for fun.
The grey fox and coyotes seem to lock right in on them at night.
I don't know if they make a little noise or if a no glow would spoke them less.
The greys seemed even more spooked than the coyotes.
But I use them so little I wasn't sure I even wanted to invest in something different.
But I am still a little curious too......

Mine are out all the time and are Cuddeback black flash cameras. I am texted and emailed the pics, so I am not going back and forth to check cameras.

Yes, the “black flash” is almost required for good coyotes pics or videos. They usually immediately notice the led lights of others. Sometimes you can set a camera in the perfect location where they don’t notice the lights, but not often. I’ve gotten a lot of coyotes with “low glow” cameras in video mode, and as soon as they’re in frame the look at the camera and almost turn inside out gettjng out of there.

I’ve had cameras that glowed set up on a rub tree and coyotes walking the road behind the tree would see the glow and either stop and stare then continue on their way or come in and check it out.
My Spartans use Blackout and no issues at all.

Thanks for the low glow info guys!
I probably should have started another thread instead of hijacking this one, but the question came to mind while I was here. Sorry Flipper 56
