Sad part of living in that location. Just think it could be wildfire, earth quakes, tornadoes, or blizzards if you lived somewhere else. There are always trade offs.

Hopefully you will come out without any damage fingers crossed.

Been watching this one, figured the remnants will come up to the Northeast and give us some badly needed rain but nope, doesn't look like it'll make it...

Opened last weekend. Bobby and crew killed 2, so far.

We went more than 20 years here without a stronger storm coming in from the Gulf and passing directly over us here. Now, past couple years....3 or 4 directly over us.

Have had a couple major wildfires past decade....over 100 thousand acres of these piney swamps torched each time.

Tornadoes becoming more common.....killing folks here each time.

Blizzards and earthquakes.......not so much.

South Georgia is kind of charmed. Goes years with everything hitting further west and passing north, crossing to the south or if from the east veering north as it approaches. Like y'all are in a sweet spot but then it all shifts for a few. Go figure.

Someone at the convention was whinning about not getting any rate out of the last hurry cane that drowned us, guess they got their wish this time. Least it didn't come in last weekend and goof up the convention.

seems like Canada was having some big fires also Keith.

That's more in southern Canada, not the same farther north.
They get more snow, and colder weather , but not much or heavy winds like farther south.
When it gets cold , it gets cold up there.
