I have heard of that but never tried it. I had putting up greasers.

Mineral spirits is good to remove grease and oil from the fur.Should be able to wipe down the leather with a dry rag,I wouldnt put solvents on the leather. varsol is commonly used in the media when drumming drum pelts

Usually I just wipe oil with paper towing, shine up dry rat pelts with oily rag from coon hides That's work great! No need to go further!

Conman I think I seen the same video, guy used grocery carts to move coons around. He looked like he had a good system down. Coons looked good too.
wws . Ya that was same vid, use shop carts to move coon,around, just like production in factory
