Yep, been fighting it for going on two years. Thought I had it licked with immunotherapy but mine is stubborn and came back with a vengeance. Taking chemo every two weeks currently, next scan is in a couple weeks. Hope to get a break for trapping season. Everyone has a different story. It could be as simple as a few treatments or it could be a life long battle but I have been told it's one of the more treatable cancers. Look up, talk to God and good luck to you!
Right now I’m having amnesia and déjà vu at the same time. I think I’ve forgotten this before.

I know a lady who has non-Hodgkins lymphoma for many years now. She has learned to live with it is what she told me. She said the worst thing about it is a compromised immune system and has to be careful around people. Prayers for you.
My doctor suggested I start doing squats, so I moved all the beer to the bottom shelf of my fridge.

My coworker had it in his neck too. It was in twined in the muscles like roots. They chopped it out, radiation for a bit afterwards and he was back to crushing powerline 6 months later. He lost weight during radiation. He said everything tasted like garbage and he just didn’t want to eat. First thing he asked the doc was “is it the smoking type of cancer?” Doc said no…..you can keep smoking…lol. You got this walleyed!

Keep track of all related expenses. Vechilie etc. The nurses can help with this. Later for your "rehab", cash the check and run a road line.
Don't fear the meds, according to Doc.

An update on walleyed's Lymphoma diagnosis.
Finally saw the oncologist Thursday October 31st around 3:30PM after she reviewed all my scans, bloodwork, and ulrasounds.
She said it was type b non-hodgkins lymphoma stage 4+ and had been very aggressive, fast spreading that should have been aced on much sooner.
then she dropped the surprise and sent me to the local cancer hospital outfit for installation of a chemo port, and echo-cardiogram and a blood bone biopsy.
The blood bone biopsy failed as we could not fit in the machine loop.
Next we received a heavy dose of chemo and then in hospital observation until this morning.
Responded well to the chemo but weak & tired.
After much wailing & nashing of tooth, the oncologists let me out so I could vote tomorrow morning.
More out patient chemo to follow this week.
Stay tuned for more.
walleyed out but still kicking.
