Hello experts....
I am 85% sure I have a mole and the problem is I don't have traps designed to catch moles. The destruction is shallow runs with frequent turns no rhyme or reason. I can't find a main run. The small round mounds suggests that it is a mole. I previously caught a mole in the same area using a plastic tunnel trap. It was a lucky catch I believe. I've set them and no luck and the majority of my traps are Maccabee or the Old reliable I think it's called.
Can I catch these moles on a Maccabee?
They have closed the tunnel just above my trap a couple of times now I didn't even know until I pulled the trap away and looked in and saw the whole full of shredded dirt.
Any advice or tips other than buy the right traps would be greatly appreciated.

Make sure you have the right identity on the animal. You may have a gopher or more than one. Some cannot distinguish between the two types of activity.

I've caught them in a DK1 before.. not intentionally.. not advised.. but does happen occasionally.. it was in a gopher tunnel i pulled 2 adult gophers from the day prior...
