Would any of you know what a Henry Silver Boy 30-30 is worth. It's in excellent condition. A guy I know at work is selling one any wanted to know if I was interested in it? He didn't put a price on it yet and wanted to know what I would give him for it. I told him I didn't buy rifles that away and for him to put a price on it and I would let him know. Thanks for any help.

brand new they go for 1300 if its used you could probably get it for 1000 great rifle every man needs a lever action 30-30

I see a brass 30-30 , blued steel 30-30 , case hardened 30-30 , stainless steel 30-30 receivers and a golden boy rimfire , and big boy pistol caliber cartridge's

but a Silver Boy in 30-30 isn't a model I see

is it polished brass or other polished metal

I wouldn't get a polished receiver as a user and 900 seems about the top end of what I would think is fair for a used even almost unused.

used private sale I would probably offer 700 if it is something I want , he didn't set a price and asked you to set it.

I am seeing used post 64 but still US made Winchester M1894 selling around 550

when they don't set a price , I will always go low and let them counter offer.

the used gun market is full in most places , guys walking into shops trying to sell for cash daily

it also gets the question , is it the newer side gate loading Henry or the older no side gate to load from , every round needs to go down the tube from the muzzle

if it is an old no side gate , take more money off
