Has anybody on here used them? $30 for 3 is so much cheaper then a $35 Stihl chain. I guess they only need to last 1/3 the time to pay for themselves. Or are they just cheap and brake.

For the price. try some, and let us know! Likely Chinese, but, not everything they sell is crap, just mostly. Can you post a link?

I bet the steel is cheap, so probably will dull fast if full chisel....Might try some in semi-chisel and see how they perform.

There’s countless “cheap” chains on Amazon, probably need to specify which brand you’re asking about. Some will be better than others.

what size do you use?

woodland pro
Carlton
Oregon
Husky
Stihl

are all good chains ,

it depends on size but woodland pro in 10 packs you can get 19-30 a chain depending on size

I like full chisel and I hand file , that is where you make a chain last and last , well that and keeping it out of the dirt.

I used this https://www.baileysonline.com/catal...el-chainsaw-chain-wpp-38rc/category/311/ for my 18inch bar saw 19.99 a chain when you buy 10

if you hand file 10 is probably 10 years worth of wood cutting

Bought a 3 pack of Kakei, just finished cutting up one giant oak with it and its still cutting like butter. I was in the same position, I have a Husq 455 Rancher and chains are $35 at TSC. For the money you can't go wrong. So far so good for me. I would buy them again.

I bought the 3 pack and they didn't fit my Stihl. They did credit my account back and said keep the chains.

Forgiveness is just a prayer away.

Try Oregon brand, they are recommended by some small engine shops.

This question came up this morning on a different forum, nothing good said about Chinese chains but nobody had tried them. Found this helpful website with some great answers to basics on chains…..the brains of the saw.

If they're soft and dull out fast you may be able to sharpen them with a Dremel and possibly harden them.

I've never tried them but ide give it a shot assuming it's not safety chain.
