You think of hurricane’s destruction along the coast, you don’t think of it hundreds of miles inland.
We’re about as prepared as we could be I guess. It’ll be “brace for impact” and see what it looks like tomorrow. Folks will see how “stout” their houses are. We’ll see how well the trees handle it. I have a feeling we’re going to lose a lot of oaks out of this.
Last hurricane the wife and kids went to shelter and lived large, lol. Think they’re staying to ride it out with me this time. At least one of us has to stay to take care of the dogs and deal with anything major that might need immediate attention.
