that are called incidents at my plant. If you are on a 8 hr shift you can get 3 and 12 hrs shift you get 2 after that you get a verbal warning, next you get a Wright up, day off, 3 days off, 7 days off, 15, days off,30 days off then gone. they drop off every 13 weeks on a rolling calendar. and anyone that wants to miss more or anytime they want to avoid forced overtime for example will get FMLA.
you get an incident for any time missed. in late, leaving early full day off all one incident. But you have to call in one hour before your shift starts or you will get 2 incident. one for missing one for a late call off. Those are the only ones that ever get me. typically I will be on a several weeks of 16hr shifts and have just switched from days to nights or from staying out late 4 hrs to going in 4 early and I over sleep and get 2 for that. but it's never an issue since I never miss work other than maybe during deer season to take the boys hunting so I never have any issues.

Pretty chill policy at my municipal job. As long as you don't make a habit of being way late for no reason you are good.
We get most holidays off and 4 weeks paid vacation. 12 days sick time which you can get paid for 6 if you don't use it. The other half is basically more paid vacation. You have to work one weekend a month but only for 4 hours. That gets turned into 16 hours of comp time used the following week so you get a 4 day weekend following the weekend you worked. I comp my overtime for an extra 2 weeks off a year usually. Pay isn't the greatest but I get to hunt and trap a lot.

Production gets 14 points and a point lasts for 12 months from when you get it. No call no show = 1 point. Call in before your shift = 1/2 a point. Once you have 14 points you get three strikes. At 13.5 points the strikes go back to zero. Its a dumb system and nobody ever came to work between that and their FMLA it was always a game to some working the system but its important to know not everyone did. Heck they had a 800 number to call into and leave a message and thats all you had to do to get the 1/2 point.
Oh and 13 paid holidays and two weeks vacation. lol. Someone can no show and not call, and not get fired?

Not a point system. Allowed 8 absences a year. As you get to the date of the first absence in the next year, it drops off. You're also allowed something like 6 late punch ins a month, which I think is ridiculous.
I get 14 days of vacation, 5 days of holiday... and I'm not sure how many sick days... maybe something like 8 a year.
That said, how it's enforced is widely variable. If they want to get rid of an employee, they're gone on absence #9. On the other hand, they recently fired someone for having 27 absences in a year. It really just depends on who the manager is, and if they like you.

Do you guys have them? What's your attendance policy. Do you get paid personal days? Before I retired we had 6 paid sick days and 2 unpaid if you got hurt or whatever you went on short term disability about 85% of a 40 hours pay . But it was a 24/7/365 operation

Totally bs,,,, If it is a good employee, ya give grace. Meatheads you fire the second time….
Same with drinking on the job…….. I'm so good, my boss lets me drink on the job. Apparently, I can do work and drink at the same time. I wish, I could get fired. P.S. This one is going to be hard to believe, but the boss supplies the beer. Sometimes it is good to work for Eurotrash.

I get 4 hours of sick leave and 6 hours of annual leave per pay period. No points. Plus a time off bonus and some time off awards throughout the year. Are you Federal? If not, it's similar to us. I have to wait 2 more years before I get bumped up into the 8hr annual leave/pay period.

I worked in a large factory years ago.
They had what was called 'occurances' Being late or calling in sick was treated the same as an occurrence. Accounted on a rolling 12 month time frame , each occurance was erased in 12 months from date of occurrence.
1 occurrence - no problem 2 occurrences - no problem 3 occurrences - verbal warning 4 occurrences - written warning , 1 day off w/o pay 5 occurrences - written warning , 3 days off w/o pay 6 occurrences - out of a job
Funny however , we had a black lesbian who got to 11 occurrences before she got fired. Triple minority. I guess they were afraid of a discrimination lawsuit. Equal but special.

We get 6 sick/personal days a year. If we keep all 6 we get x3 pay out on them. Call in sick go to doctor and get your day's pay If you get a Dr.'s note .
I use all mine , payout is taxed to death like 52percent
Let me sugar coat this

I get 160 hours off per year and all fed holidays. Thats 6.16 hours per two weeks pay period off.
I can bank up and have about 170 hours banked but if I am sick I am not working. Work from home job
