I'm looking forward to another visit to scenic Bland, VA. Hopefully the hurricane left the area in better shape than other areas.
I haven't heard for sure, but I'm pretty sure there's going to be a trapper's feed on Friday evening. I'll be bringing a pot of beaver stew and the smoked salmon cheese ball. It's always a great time to be had at this convention. If you can swing it, come on to the convention and enjoy the festivities.

Buzzard I agree 100 % I have a progressive disease that is killing me one day at a time And some of those days are really long days When it was just getting started I made a choice to geta indoor house /hunting dog I had a few hunting dog in the past but this one was going to be my companion Well she has been a blessing to me to the point I got another just ;like about 3 years later One is laying by my feet right now and the other is on my day bed behind me They and so would I prefer t be out hunting pheasants But they know when I am having a bad day and they do their best to keep me comfortable and as happy as the day makes it possible And some times they
seem to say come come on DAD lets go out and play or sit in the sun or whatever And just for a little bit I forget about how crappy i Ieel and how nice it is to have them watching out for me And how having them makes life a little le s s boring

There has traditionally been a feed on Friday evening. There is a stove in one of the buildings that works. I plan to bring a beaver stew again, and I use that stove to heat it up.

I needed the oven, does this work ?
I won't be warming up jambalaya, but making it from scratch

I don't know about the oven. I've never used it. Was it the stove that was in the building where I usually set up? That's the one I use and the stove top worked good last year.

Cotton is working on the demo list we will have a general membership meeting also.

Demos should be good ones and will posted on the white board at the vta table.

Does anybody know what vendors will be there? Newt? I;m planning on being there Friday morning.
