There’s a question about cage traps for fisher on the Strictly Trapping page. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I’m trying to help out a potential new trapper. Please put aside your rants, politics, and petty squabbles and help me out.
Thanks!

Never caught a fisher in a cage trap but..
I don't use them either.

I find them very easy to catch when trapping ( they seem fearless).
I would think they would be easily caught in a live trap.
Would use a well made one though.

swampgas chili and schmidt beer makes for a deadly combo

You have to remember that 1 out of 3 Democratic Voters is just as dumb as the other two.

Fisher are easy to get in a cage trap, just set where they are with good bait. As easy to catch as a skunk or coon. I sent a bunch to Pa for their restocking program.

I got 4 fishers in cage traps in city limits a couple years ago they were eating cats, they were very easy to catch all first night, I used parts of what they were eating,
