A friend of mine works at a plant in Dayton, Ohio that makes literal tons of precooked bacon daily. He's always amazed at how many pork bellies they get in. He told me he didn't think there were that many hogs in America. The microwaves are hundreds of feet long and have constantly running conveyors in them. He frequently, literally brings home the bacon.

Tell Chuckie to get up earlier in the morning!

Well then tell him if you two are in the same house.

I lost 24 pounds over the past 3 months by eliminating all carbs. I doubt that I could have done it without bacon. I cook 4 pounds at a time and that's pretty much all I eat for 3 days until it is gone. I do this about twice a month. I used to buy the precooked bacon for convenience as a quick fix to avoid all of the carbs that my wife keeps in the house. It's too expensive though.
I had a very thorough workup done on me at the emergency room 3 months ago and all of my labs came out normal except for triglycerides which have always shown up as above normal on every blood test I have had for 40 years. No artery, heart or lung issues.
My issues which prompted me to go to the ER were caused by a spike in blood pressure causing shortness of breath and feeling like I was going to pass out. They put me on blood thinners but the side effects precluded me from being exposed to heat. I work outside under adverse conditions, so that wasn't going to work, so I decided to lose 3 gallons of fat. Blood pressure is now much reduced. 196 pounds down to 172 pounds will do that for someone 5'8".
I still continue to monitor my blood pressure regularly. I don't want the Silent Killer to take me out.

My great grandma always cooked bacon every morning and stuck it in the cupboard for who ever walked in to munch through out the day.

My Dad ate a LOT of bacon, then saved the grease to cook everything else in ( in an OLD Crisco can, under the sink, LOL), popped his first beer before the sun came up many days, and started smoking at 12 years old.

Made it to his mid 90s.

Had great grandparents that both died in their late 90s. Great Gma would fry up a pound of bacon EVERY morning. Eggs got dumped into the cast iron skillet on top of the grease. Both drank straight black coffee all day long, every day, and smoked unfiltered Camels. Both were small in stature and would be considered skinny now.

I miss my Great Gma's 'cat head' biscuits. Getting teary eyed thinking 'bout it.
