I think so, years ago, always tried different things but never noticed it helping, and if your playing the wind right deer won't scent you anyway, unless dead down wind and how often does that happen?

The only time I noticed a scent work was when I put some Anise on a branch along a trail and went up a ridge a ways to watch, a buck stopped for a sniff long enough for a shot....otherwise for the way I hunted, scents or urine did nothing for me.
