I enjoy “store bought” pigs, but some of these hogs we kill the buzzards won’t even touch. I don’t think God would’ve allowed man to figure out how to make Bacon if he didn’t want us eating it. I’d imagine there will be a bacon dispensing machine at the Pearly Gates!!

I worked with a guy that is a Jew, and he semi explained to me that we're not supposed to know the why of anything God said, but he explained that the most common heart valve transplant and other parts come from a pig. I had it explained to me by another guy, the dietary laws were handed down in a time when Tularemia and many other fatal diseases came from poorly cooked meat, especially from pigs, and pigs are known to eat human flesh when available.

The Bible says all food is good to eat with prayer so even a unclean animal like a pigs are OK with prayer.

I didn’t watch it all but I remember the account. I also remember the account “arise Peter, slaughter and eat”
“Stop calling unclean the things God has cleansed”. This was mostly referring to uncircumcised Gentiles. But also had to do with the animals once labeled unclean.
