1/16 oz weedless jig with 2” grub tail. If I only had to be choice this would be it. X2 it wouldn't have to be weedless for me. Tennessee shad color, if I only had one option. That would put food on the table. (Crappies, bluegills, walleye, etc...) If I were out for just fun, 1/2 oz jig n pig, black and blue, for big bass. 6" live bullhead for big flatheads. Sonny's Super Sticky, for big numbers of channel cats (orange doc's dip worm). Dardelve Spoon 1oz. Red/White Stripe or 5 of Diamonds (nickle backs) for northerns.

I am never without my little spoon box. It contains small to large genuine Daredevil's red and white, frog green, five of diamonds. Little Cleos are great too. Thru the ice the Hali spoon with gold dropper chain is hard to beat.

Johnson silver minnow needs to use a loose knot like a Rapala knot to free it up to move, and needs a piece of pork rind.
The old Hula Poppers were magic on an early summer evening. Others were plastic worms.......no weight......just cast it out and stop and go retrieve.
For rivers and streams..........I make my own spinners.........like a rooster tail........just colored beads and a blade.........bare hook. Will catch 10X more if you hang a piece of night crawler on the hook.
Easy to vote your way into socialism, but impossible to vote your way out of it.
