Grandma, no one mentioned my favorite walleye lure, the 7 inch sized one. Little Cleo especially the thin one( called flutter-if you have any I want it!!!) Yes the flat fish and lazy Ike, and for bass chug pug and Pike to - love my pike fishing. Trout white bread balls, cheese balls and good old corn- Really my favorite bait for trout is salmon eggs but the bottle is half sized not and 4 times the price, corn will do well. Night time I use lures or big flys for trout. the only time I use the fly rod is for trout at night or pike........jk

I have probably caught the most on
jig and worm , jig and minnow

 slip bobber rigs as well.

to the point that I didn't have much in the way of artificial at all in my tacklebox

then I got introduced to a Bandito bug rigged weed-less and weightless and man I love that for bassy areas of thick weeds
and the Wacky rig with a less weeds hook has also become a favorite caught a few bass on that Wednesday evening

I may also be too cheep to want to throw a 10 dollar bill on the end of my line and cast it at a bunch of down trees in the river. 1-2 dollars I can handle , it doesn't hurt the same.

I did actually catch on little silver spoon a few weeks ago , that was a 1.79 fleet farm bin special

Johnson silver minnows can work very well with a pork rind or rubber tail. HOWEVER, they have the worst hook on the planet. Work it over good with a file right out of the box. When I use them I find it best to give it a second after the initial hit, no pressure on the line, to give the fish time to turn with it and then set that single hook in.

Mepps, red and white faced. #2 or #3, depending on size of fish.

Bass, Rapala and plastic worms. Panfish, small jig with rubber body, tip with worm, catches bass and walleye too.
 Trout, spinners.
Nightcrawlers for most everything. Also chunks of hotdogs for catfish and bowfins.

Right now I’m having amnesia and déjà vu at the same time. I think I’ve forgotten this before.

Depends on fish and a few other variables. Some good ones here
 Williams wabbler-gold or silver
 daredevle
 Canadian wiggler
 Beetle spin
 Yellow marabou jig
Last two can use with minnow or worm
