Looks like a bearing buddy should be able to tap it back and forth to get it loose.

just put a grease gun on that zerk fitting and grease it. keep going till you push out all the old grease. If you have to change it. Just do it like any other.

Heavy steel not a bearing buddy the zert , blue piece, and the ring all spin and float.

No ridge on out side of the outer like a bearing buddy has , looks like it comes from the inside

Get a big pair of channel locks and it'll come off.
Pack the bearings and pack the ZERK (grease fitting) with grease

Life ain't supposed to be easy.

does it spin freely now ?

if it does spin freely and has no felt play pump some grease in it

I looked up your number h 1377 it is a fairly standard hub

where the cast iron meets the silver is where a traditional dust cap would go , this fits in there

so look up the number and you can see it disassembled

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

This is exactly what you don’t want to do. The only way “push out all the old grease” is to blow the inner seal out.

It ain't a sealed bearing if it's got a zerk (or so I always thought anyway). Maybe I've never had anythin that new and shiny lookin is all or maybe Vinke is right and that dust cover wannabe is pressed on.

IDK but its obviously not runnin oil so unless it was gittin hot I'd be tempted to put it on the road and see if its gittin hot. If not then put yer foot down an let the big dog eat. The waggon will be right behind ya.

If you have a heavy load goin up and down grades I'd sure check it ever so often

FYI I'd rather have a tad bearing slop if I'm not sure the bearing is packed properly and u can't know that w/o a workin zero or a visual inspectin behind that obnoxious Y2K dust cap. I think the guy who designed that make gas can spouts safer the commie bass (oh never mind)
