What is the name of the scissor/clamping type metal catch pole and who sells them. The name escapes me.Thanks.

Tongs? Southern snares used to sell them, but I think they’ve been out of stock for awhile. South Georgia has a few folks who make them, but I’m not sure of an actual manufacturer to buy from

I have a set of those tongs, have had them since I was a kid. Pretty sure the only thing I have ever used them for is pulling a couple coons out of cages to collar them. They actually work well for pulling something out of a cage without turning it loose. But they are pretty short if you are trying to use them on a critter that is on a chain.
