you should try those gill , scaled , head off gut out , a rub of seasoning and fried in hot oil , makes them crispy and very good
if it is bigger like those crappie they don't get as crispy , because of how they take a bit longer to cook

if it is bigger like those crappie they don't get as crispy , because of how they take a bit longer to cook Never tried that but it sounds great. I've been trying different shake n bake recipes easy and some are very delicious.
