I like building shooting houses--I'll put them on 4 or 5 foot posts.

I leave the tripods and ladder stands to the Chinese kids making them for Academy/Cabelas/Whoever--but I want metal if I am 10 to 16 feet in the air.

We have a local company that will build anything your heart desires. Pretty sure my sons is an 18’. They even make stair cases for them if you want to walk up stairs vs climbing up. They have their own coverings for the outside as well. They make them for rifle hunters or with vertical slots for archery hunting. Don’t think they have any Chinese working for them either. These are all metal and anchored with basically cut fence posts. A sledgehammer is used to pound them in the deck and #5 chain to attach to the Tower. Once the anchors are in it takes a good wet day and a lot of horsepower to get them up, lol.
