I've heard the argument that women are better drivers and then Ins. Rates and stats are used to back this up.
My reply is always that proves they don't get in as many fender benders thats all.
How many Indy 500's, 24 hrs of LeMans, Formula 1 and any other race series have women won compared to men, that tells you who is a better driver.

Camping out in the hammer lane along another vehicle
Not a care in the world
Not aware that people are trying to pass

Men do it also but they know they’re doing it, just being inconsiderate
It’s become a trend around here
Drives me nuts

I’ve posted on her before what my pawpaw used to say!

“We formed a nation and waited around 90 years before we had a State let them vote and then when the automobile was invented for some reason we just threw the keys at them and said get after it” grin

Makes me laugh every time I think about him saying it.

Funny story, I saw a woman this week driving with a gas pump hose out her tank. I waved her down and she implied she knew about it and continued to drive. Cop saw her soon after thankfully. It was pretty comical...and concerning

I came out of the China Garden Buffet by WPAFB and saw an Asian woman lightly bump the side of my truck's bumper, trying to pull into the space next to me. She backed up, tried pulling in again and hit my truck's bumper again. She backed up again and as I got to my truck she was pulling forward and was lined up to hit my truck for at least a third time. I slapped her window, got her attention and asked what she was doing. She said "I'm pawking! You truck to big!". I said " Don't park into my truck again! All those spaces are empty. Why don't you just park there?", pointing at the three open spaces to the left of the space she was trying to park in. She muttered something in Mandarin, backed up and drove away, out of the parking lot.

My truck was a 2001 Ford Ranger, parked dead center in the space, far back from the restaurant in an almost empty section of parking lot, with 4 empty spaces to my left and 20 plus empty spaces to my right.

Good one. Grandpas did always did such a great job of imparting some wisdom and pointing out the humor in life most of the time. Mine was born in 1899 and grew up on a horse. He used to say if it has either teats or tires, at some point it's gonna be a problem.

Reading what you posted above, it's purdy obvious they had both seen the same issues and was tryin to keep us youngins on the straight and narrow.

My mom was a great driver. It was probably because she grew up driving my uncles milk truck at the ripe ole age of 8.

My wife is half way decent. She's just not observant. We were coming home one day from Pittsburgh. I told her there was a cop ahead. She never saw him. He was sitting in the median and the old bright white cruisers. She also had this horrible habit of going to fast for conditions. To get into town we have a big hill to go down. I don't know how many phone calls I've gotten that she went down that hill backwards or doing donuts. She also likes to run up to stop signs/lights and slam on her brakes at the last possible moment. Thing is I can't totally blame that on her. It's how she was taught.

In defense of some women drivers I dated a runaway Mennonite girl who could back a 4 wheel hay wagon back in the day. For those that have never tried it, it's darn near impossible when the darn thing is empty. Once it has an over sized load on it, good luck man. You'd just as well try to shove a 3rd bobcat into that burlap bag.

Never understood why people park right next to you in a completely empty parking lot.
