I always throw my gold pan in when traveling, and when by rivers or in a area that may be questionable to have any sign, sometimes I get some color, sometimes not, but it's a nice break from driving when needed. Sorry if my opinions or replies offend you, they are not meant to !

This area is polluted with gold,some of it high grade in veins of quartze. Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.

The tributaries have brook trout so likely some brook trout in the river too though never fish bigger water for the brookies. Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.
