I have seen a few things about mj-600s with pans that have white letters on them. I was wondering about their value. Are they considered a collectible? Are there different makings that would make some have more value than others? Thanks for any information you can provide.

They do have a good value, as do all the Sterling traps of the past. (And present for that matter!)
Tom Parr did a nice kind of summary of the Sterling traps in the trap collectors magazine...TRAPS back in October of 2019...he lists 11 variations of note...he did not add any of the special projects such as state or NTA commemoratives...but they are out there.

I'm memory-suspect, but I have seen the painted pan ones sell for $100 and not stay listed very long...

So from the information above, am I correct that there were 500 of these made?
Anyone have an estimate of the value?

It's what the BUYER will pay.... lots of those traps were used as commemorative, celebratory traps. $40-50 each?

Pretty sure they would sell quite quickly at $40 a piece.
